The Prime Says...

Welcome Back

It's been a long time. I shouldn't have left you without a "Prime Says" to step to. With all due apologies to Rakim, it hasn't entirely been my fault. Although one component of the delay has been the laziness and procrastination which is a hallmark of DI.com endeavors, the overriding factor has been a hand injury which has limited my non-essential typing time for most of this year. I'm sure anyone who's read it will agree that The Prime Says is non-essential. (Heaven forfend! I'm starting to sound like the jackass I hired to do the rest of this site.) Unfortunately, I'm still suffering from the manual malady so this is will be short.

Happy Anniversary

Yes, it's anniversary time again at droolingidiots.com. We've been online since 2001 and we're about to limp into year number four. Many of the grand plans I had for this site have, admittedly and obviously, fallen by the wayside over the years. The lack of typing and studio time are the biggest speedbumps in the road - plus the procrastination and laziness, of course. Can't forget those. I'm sad to report that I don't see any of those factors moderating in the near future. I make no predictions about what's going to happen in year number four. We shall see.

So how was year number three? Not awful, all things considered. Hundreds and hundreds of people have downloaded "Turn Me On". Why, I'm not sure. Maybe they were looking for the song of the same name by Norah Jones, Vitamin C or Kevin Lyttle. Whatever. I appreciate the downloads anyway. I hope they liked it. Last time I checked, DI.com about 1550 hits and now the counter says 75. I'm not sure how or when the web hosting service messed up the counter. Let's assume that we've gotten about 1700 hits. That's a bit over 700 for this year which marks a ~30% improvement over last year. Yay, us!
